The Yellow Pitaya/Dragon Fruit Health Benefits
The yellow pitaya has a bright yellow thick scaly skin. The fruit is smaller than the red and pink variety. The flesh of the yellow pitaya is white and contains many small black edible seeds. The flesh is juicy and sweeter than the flesh of the other pitaya varieties. Yellow pitayas are kept refrigerated in storage and during transport. The ideal temperature during transport is 10 degrees Celsius. At home the yellow pitaya needs to be kept out of the fridge.
